Here is a unique mixed lot of natural British Columbia Nephrite Jade, collected from the mountains and rugged landscape of BC.
This material offers a wide range of natural characteristics and grades, from pieces showing the typical natural fractures and imperfections found in BC nephrite, to cleaner, more solid pieces with beautiful colour, pattern, and potential for lapidary work.
The material ranges through rich green nephrite, with some pieces containing dark magnetite inclusions, along with some especially interesting dendritic inclusions that create natural branching patterns within the stone. There are also areas showing attractive, more gem-quality characteristics, making this an interesting mix for anyone who enjoys sorting, cutting, polishing, and discovering what is hidden inside natural jade.
This is Nephrite Jade, not Jadeite. Each piece has its own natural character, and because this is a mixed bulk material, quality and appearance will vary from piece to piece.
